FBS Group Limited ("FBS", "we") operates this website. We are the data controller for personal data submitted through it.

We only collect what you choose to send us. If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, plus your organization and phone number if you provide them, and the topic you select so we can route the enquiry.

If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

We use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It records no cookies and no identifier that could follow you to another website, so it cannot identify you and needs no consent banner.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not sell personal data.

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to continue a business conversation you started.

Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. Where we later enter into a contract with you, we process the data necessary to perform it.

Access is limited to FBS staff who need it to answer you. We do not share enquiry data with third parties for their own purposes.

We use service providers for hosting, email, and infrastructure, who process data on our instructions under contract. Data is stored in our own database, with in-country or regional hosting where available.

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records — normally no more than 24 months — unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we are required to keep it longer.

Under Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to delete it, or to stop using it. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email office@fbsgroup.co.tz. We will respond within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission.

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access on a least-privilege basis, log changes to stored data, and test our backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them.

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date below. Material changes will be highlighted here.
